Why Replace Filter Sand?

Over time, the sand inside your pool filter becomes worn, compacted, and coated with oils and debris — reducing its ability to trap fine particles. Replacing the sand restores filtration performance, improves water clarity, and helps your system run more efficiently.

When Is It Time?

• Sand is 3–5+ years old
• Water stays cloudy despite proper chemistry
• Filter pressure remains high after back-washing
• Visible channeling or clumping inside the filter

What’s Included

• Drain and open filter housing
• Removal old sand
• Inspection of laterals and internal components
• Installation of fresh silica sand
• System restart and pressure check
• Off site disposal of old sand available for additional fee
